Stay warm and cozy with your new one-of-a-kind handmade sweater!

While sewing the Toaster Sweater, you will learn the skills necessary to sew knits like a pro! Using our Elna 560 sewing machines, you’ll gain new skills that are transferable to many other knit projects and are highly coveted in the sewing world. During the class our instructor will highlight how to work with a knit fabric and choosing the appropriate machine needle and foot for sewing knits on a standard sewing machine - no serger needed to sew your favourite knit patterns!

In addition to learning how to sew knits, you'll also have so much fun learning to sew the Sew House Seven Toaster Sweater pattern. While making your sweater, you'll learn our best tips and tricks for stitching raglan sleeves, knit cuffs, waistbands and neckbands.

This class will work from the Sew House Seven Toaster Sweater pattern and sew Version 1 with a higher neck and raglan sleeves. Our sample is made from the Creekside Sweater Knit, and we would also suggest sewing your Toaster in our Bowen French Terry, Neve Ribbed Knit or our Juno Cotton Modal Knit
