We have plenty of sewing inspiration in the shop this Easter weekend and our amazing staff will be on hand to help you pick out a new project. We’ll be open our regular hours.

We have to admit it, our Ready! Set! Quilt! class is one of our favourites. If you’ve always wanted to make a beautiful, modern quilt, this is the one to take. The beginning quilt class runs 3 days and covers everything from using a rotary cutter to properly cut your quilt pieces, using a walking foot to quilt the quilt and sewing the binding. If all these things sound confusing, we’ll walk you through, step by step, and at the end of the class you’ll head home with a small throw.

We wanted to give you a heads up, as our super awesome quilt instructor Nicole has some big plans for this summer, and as a warning, this will be the last weekend Ready! Set! Quilt! for a few months. We’re planning the next date for early Fall. So, if you were planning ahead on making the quilt as a treat for yourself or perhaps have a summer baby on the way, the April session is your best bet!
