New Colette Patterns Launch Party

We are proud to say that we’ve carried the amazing collection of sewing patterns from Colette since the shop opened. Many of you have tried them with great success, and created beautiful garments as result. If you haven’t, you are missing out. Sarai and her team produce excellent patterns featuring great garment designs and a bunch of useful sewing tips.

The new patterns haven’t been announced yet, but trust us, they are coming soon and you are going to love them! To celebrate the launch of the latest patterns, Sarai, the creator of Colette Patterns, is visiting Spool of Thread!

We are hosting the Colette Patterns Launch Party on Sunday, September 16th. The brand new sewing patterns will be hitting the shelves for the party, as well as treats and an opportunity to chat with the great sewing inspiration herself, Sarai. Plus, all of the Colette sewing patterns and the book will be 15% off. And, a little extra incentive to show off the beautiful things that you’ve made using a Colette pattern, wear your Colette Patterns garment and instead of 15% off, receive 25% off any of the Colette sewing patterns and the book, including the new designs!

    ummm, all i’ve made so far are the the madeleine mini bloomers. not sure how appropriate it would be to wear those to the party… ;)

    I’m coming! When I heard about Sarai’s plans to visit Vancouver a few weeks ago I was enthused, and now I’m even more excited! See you there, with my 6 month old baby in tow :) (Gotta start ‘em early!)
