Birch Fabrics

8 Jun

Spool of Thread is now working with two 100% organic cotton companies, and part of this week’s fabric shipment included collections from both! The last few days have been filled with pulling bolt after bolt out of the boxes, admiring the amazing work of both of these companies! We wanted to take the time to introduce you to them over the next few days.

Today we have Birch Fabrics.  All of the prints from Birch are 100% organic cotton, GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified. On top of that, head designer Cynthia has a great eye for color. The current collections have a breezy, summer feel to them, with their muted, retro colours.

Next Stop, a travel themed group (love the cameras + cows)

The lovely Birch designs are printed on a beautiful cotton. Silky, smooth and versatile.  At first, I thought how lovely they’d be for bedding and now I have a summer tank or two in mind.

Very exciting that you have organic fabric in stock. I love these lines – great prints!

It’s wonderful that organic fabrics are really taking off and becoming more mainstream! Looking forward to Simpatico for Cloud9!

I’ll have to stop by soon! Glad you have organic fabric. I was starting to think of ordering online because it’s not that easy to find them in Vancouver.

We’re very proud to bring Birch and organic cottons to Vancouver! I’m glad you have a local source now.
