A Saturday To Remember

We had such a lovely time hosting the Spool of Thread Grand Opening! Lili and I met many wonderful people. We were so excited to hear so many people tell us how much they loved the store. It makes all the hard work worthwhile. We’re pleased as punch at the response to our sewing class sign-ups. So much so, that we added a few extra classes in June. If you thought you missed out, check our Classes page for our most up to date schedule. The first class starts this Wednesday evening and we can’t wait for those machines to start buzzing!

Congratulations to our five lucky winners for their free hour of drop-in + sew. A very special thanks to Becka and Richard of Bliss in a Teacup for helping us decorate. We’d also like to thank Holly of the Vancouver Modern Quilt Guild for stopping by to show off her quilting skills.

If anyone would like to share any pictures of our happy event, please feel free to contact us. We’d love to see them.
