spool of thread

strands of a creative life

12.06.2006

Pausing for the Kim family. I dont know the Kims, but you cant help but watch the news for their safety. The girls were thankfully found. My thoughts are with James, who at this very moment is settling in for another night lost in the cold. It makes whatever little complaints I might have throughout my day minimal. I hope we find him well tomorrow.

Pausing to celebrate. This past weekend I participated in the previously mention One of a kind christmas show. I cant even express what a wonderful experience it was. I learned so much and i am so thankful for the opportunity. I really needed to sell some of my work. I needed to realize the value of what I am doing. I sold 50% of the product I had on hand, which i think is really excellent. Yesterday i lazed around the house in victory.

Pausing to regroup. At the end of every year i always feel the opportunity to turn over a new leaf. This year is no different. There are many things on my new years resolution list. One, is to continue to grow iglubu. Today i worked on refining my branding and planning for the next year. I already have my eye on some craft shows next holiday season, and i need to start sewing now!

Pausing to be excited. I am also tossing around a few new ideas for Lili projects. A few online, a few that will help Vancouverites. I'm not ready to talk yet... but trust me, it will be good.

Pausing to blog.

ETA: i should learn to use spellcheck! Sorry!
